Hello everyone! I’m Hiba, a registered dietitian with a degree from LIU. My passion for helping individuals overcome emotional eating and manage IBS led me to further my education and training. As a result, I hold certifications as a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor (CIEC), Certified Emotional Eating Specialist (CEES), and Certified IBS Management Specialist (CIMS). I strongly believe that food isn't just about nutrition; it's a source of joy, comfort, and connection. With a holistic and compassionate approach, I blend evidence-based nutrition advice, mindfulness techniques, and emotional support to guide those struggling with binge eating, food cravings, digestive issues, or stress eating. Hiba’s Journey
Every journey begins with a single step, and mine started in a place all too familiar to many – where food was the adversary and self-worth was entangled with body image. Picture a world, as I once did, where every meal is a battlefield, every reflection a critic. I've walked the path of feeling never thin enough, never perfect enough, burdened by bloating, self-imposed restrictions, and overwhelming shame.
But journeys are transformative. From those depths, I found a trail leading towards light and healing. I visualized a world where food becomes a cherished companion, where body diversity is celebrated in all its unique forms. I journeyed from merely imagining this world to living it – savoring food without the shadow of guilt, managing IBS without feeling deprived, and embracing emotions without turning to food as a refuge.
My transformation inspired me to help others navigate this path. I became a registered dietitian and a mindful eating coach, not just as a profession, but as a calling. I've witnessed the metamorphosis, the shift from struggle to celebration, and I believe deeply in its power.
